Obiettivi formativi / metodologia didattica RISULTATI DI APPRENDIMENTO ATTESI I ANNO: Conoscenza delle strutture sintattico-grammaticali di base della lingua sanscrita II ANNO: Conoscenza complessiva a livello elementare della lingua sanscrita III ANNO: Conoscenza complessiva a livello intermedio della lingua sanscrita CAPACITÀ DI APPLICARE CONOSCENZA E COMPRENSIONE I ANNO: Obiettivo del corso è di introdurre i principali argomenti della grammatica sanscrita in modo da rendere gli studenti capaci di riconoscere le strutture fondamentali di un testo sanscrito e permettere loro la lettura delle opere più semplici. Sono previsti la lettura e il commento di brani tratti dalla letteratura narrativa, poetica e filosofico-religiosa indiana (Bṛhadāraṇyakopaniṣad, Hitopadeśa, Pañcatantra, Bhagavadgīta ecc.) che, in sede d’esame, lo studente dovrà dimostrare di saper tradurre e spiegare. The course aims at introducing the main topics of Sanskrit grammar in order to enable students to recognize the fundamental structures of a Sanskrit text and allow them to read the most simple works. Excerpts from poetical, philosophical and religious Indian literature (Bṛhadāraṇyakopaniṣad, Hitopadeśa, Pañcatantra, Bhagavadgīta etc.) will be read and explained. During the final examination the student will have to translate and explain these passages. II ANNO: Gli studenti approfondiranno le loro conoscenze grammaticali e linguistiche attraverso la lettura e il commento in classe di testi più complessi dal punto di vista morfosintattico. Con essi sarà possibile trattare più a fondo alcuni argomenti grammaticali, anche alla luce delle speculazioni filosofiche dei grammatici indiani. Il corso intende familiarizzare ulteriormente gli studenti con le diverse varietà della lingua sanscrita. A tale scopo si prevede la lettura di alcuni brani tratti dalla letteratura esegetica e da quella scientifica e tecnica. È prevista l’introduzione allo studio di testi inediti preservati in manoscritto. Lettura della Nyāyabinduṭīkā di Dharmottara (sezione 3). Students will deepen their knowledge of Sanskrit grammar and language through the reading of texts that are more complex from the morphosyntactical point of view. Some arguments will be treated more deeply, especially in the light of Indian grammarians’ philosophical speculations. The course aims at familiarizing students with the different varieties of the Sanskrit language. For this purpose, excerpts from the exegetical literature and from scientific and technical works will be read and explained. Some lessons will focus on Indian palaeography and the theory and practice of textual criticism. Excerpts from the Nyāyabinduṭīkā of Dharmottara (section 3) will be read and explained during the course. Il corso intende familiarizzare ulteriormente gli studenti con le diverse varietà della lingua sanscrita. A tale scopo si prevede lo studio di testi inediti preservati in manoscritto. Students will further deepen their knowledge of Sanskrit grammar and language through the reading of texts that are more complex from the morphosyntactical point of view and through the composition of short stanzas in Sanskrit. The course aims at familiarizing students with the different varieties of the Sanskrit language. Some lessons will focus on Indian palaeography and the theory and practice of textual criticism. Parts of the Rājataraṅginī of Kalhaṇa will be read and commented during the course. ULTERIORI RISULTATI DI APPRENDIMENTO ATTESI Autonomia di giudizio: Al termine del terzo anno ci sia aspetta che lo studente sia in grado di porsi criticamente di fronte a un testo a stampa e rendersi conto di eventuali problemi in esso presenti (ad es. refusi, errori del curatore). Abilità comunicative: Al termine del terzo anno lo studente dovrà essere in grado di fare brevi composizioni in sanscrito e di comprendere frasi semplici esposte oralmente dal docente. Capacità di apprendimento: Al termine del terzo anno lo studente dovrà essere in grado di svolgere in autonomia letture di testi di difficoltà media. METODOLOGIA DI INSEGNAMENTO Il corso di lingua sanscrita prevede lezioni frontali annuali e attività seminariali: 1. Nozioni grammaticali di base — 20 ore (solo per il primo e per il secondo anno) 2. Accertamento del profitto MODALITÀ DI ACCERTAMENTO DEL PROFITTO Si consiglia di frequentare le lezioni. L’esame sarà sia scritto (traduzione di un brano semplice o di media difficoltà, a seconda della annualità seguita dallo studente, da svolgersi nel corso di 4 ore) sia orale. Quest’ultimo prevede la lettura e il commento linguistico dei testi sanscriti letti nel corso dell’anno o concordati con il docente. Lingua in cui si svolge l’esame: italiano / inglese /sanscrito. Criteri di valutazione: comprensione della lingua e delle strutture grammaticali, abilità di analisi e sintesi dei contenuti, completezza d’informazione, uso corretto della terminologia. |
